Travel and Lodging

The University of Puget Sound is located in beautiful North Tacoma, near the eclectic 6th Ave District. The city of Tacoma itself is a vibrant and diverse community located south of Commencement Bay and north of the gigantic, 14-thousand foot Mt. Rainier. The student organizers have put together the following information to help conference attendees with travel and lodging details during the 2010 NUBC events.

Finding the University of Puget Sound should be easy if you follow the instructions below:

Driving Directions
The University of Puget Sound is easily accessible from Interstate 5 and Washington 16. Check out the Google map for precise directions from your location.

Air Travel
The closest airport to the University of Puget Sound is the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), about 30 minutes north of Tacoma. To arrange transportation to and from the airport, please visit their website.

Hotel Murano

Transportation: There will be shuttle service provided daily between the hotels and the University of Puget Sound. On Friday, the shuttle will pick up passengers from 7-8:00am and return them from 6:30-8:30pm. On Saturday, the shuttle will pick up passengers from 7-8:00 am and return them from 9-10:00 pm. Shuttles will run every 30 minutes.
Note: There is limited availability at Hotel Murano. Please book your stay early if you want to secure your rooms.

La Quinta Inn and Suites
